Vocational High School of Veterinary Medicine 'Prof. Dr. George Pavlov', Dobrich, Bulgaria is situated in a region where the main priority in the economic development is agriculture and food industry. Dobrich is known as the ‘capital’ of the fertile land of Dobrudja, the biggest grain-growing region of the country. The Black Sea coastline is just 35km from the town.

The school is the only one that provides education and training in the field of veterinary medicine for secondary students. It’s one of the three veterinary schools in our country and enrolls students from 6 Bulgarian districts. The program duration is a 4 or 5-year course for the professions of: “Veterinary technician”, “Technologist for food and drinks quality” and “Ecology”. There are 150 students and 15 teachers of special and general school subjects.
